Mechel says raises metal products sales 4% to 1.5 mln tns in 2020

MOSCOW, Jan 18 (PRIME) -- Russian metals and mining group Mechel’s sales company Mechel Service raised sales of metal products by 4% on the year to 1.52 million tonnes in 2020, the company said in a statement on Monday.

“In spite of difficult work during the pandemic, we have managed to attain good figures this year due to optimization of logistic chains, creation of storages that select according to the type, strict segmentation of groups of goods, active work of the company’s online store, and automation of storage and business processes,” the company said quoting CEO Leonid Polyansky as saying.
